About the exhibit:

In “The Divine Darkness” traditional printmaker Lauren Stevens invites us into spaces of wonder and hope, referencing images from prophetic books like Isaiah that imagine the restoration of order in a cursed world. Stevens seeks to balance personal devotion, worship, and lament in her highly intricate works, inviting us into a Spirit-filled, dreamlike world reminiscent of the Psalms. Please join us for a glimpse of the beauty of God’s story, which we hope will inspire and encourage you in your faith.
